1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk, Nyaunglaybin, Bawlakhae, Kawkareik and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Dawei (0.83)inch and Myeik (0.59)inch.  
 
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayin States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Mon State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
