13-5-2025: Southwest monsoon has advanced into the Southern Myanmar areas, Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Siri Lanka and  Maldives – Comorin area still persists.Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 13th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers are to be likely isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Kachin and Shan States.
