SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan State, weather has been generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) below March average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) below March average temperatures in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (38°C) each in Myingyan, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Sinpyugyun, Shwekyin, Phyu and Kawkareik. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.51)inch, Tiddim (0.39)inch, Moemate (0.28)inch, Monyin, Falam and Gangaw (0.08)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 4)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. .
