2-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to recurve slowly Southwestwards and weaken gradually into a Depression during next 12 hrs.Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the East Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Taninthayi Region, Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
