BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Kayin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon , Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Magway Regions and Rakhine State  with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Regions .Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,  Magway ,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and  (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin,Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in the Southern Myanmar areas.
