BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)MST today, the low pressure aera over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malay Peninsula still persists. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th NOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Shan and Kayah States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas will be experienced at times off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts. Surface winds speed in strong easterly winds may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9)feet in off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts and (3-5)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Shan and Kayah States.
