8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the Severe tropical Storm   “Prapiroon” over Gulf Of Tonkin has crossing over Northern Vietnam Coast near Ha Long(Vietnam). It is likely continuous to move Northwestwards and weaken gradually into a Land Storm.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State , scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 10-13 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph.  Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
