8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Yangon Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Eastern and Southern) Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) in Bawlakhae, (41°C) each in Monywa, Kyemone, Myingyan and Pauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Monywa (0.47)inch, Lashio (0.31)inch, Kyemone (0.28)inch and Mogoke (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and North Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th APRIL, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
