26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Northwest Bay, Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm“TRAMI” over the South China Sea has moved westwards. It is forecast likely continue to move Westwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th October 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
