SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan and Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (7°C) above January average temperature in Kayah State, (5°C) above January average temperature in (Eastern & Southern) Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha and (4°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Coco Island (2.01)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th JANUARY, 2018: Rain will be scattered in (Eastern and Southern) Shan State, isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather is partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
