SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,  rain have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Eastern Shan and Chin States, weather has been generally fair in Magway Region, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (3°C) below March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Chauk, (39°C) each in Pyinmana, Aunglan and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Pinlaebu (0.12)inch and Putao (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th MARCH, 2018: Rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Shan States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
