28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Northern Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Mon States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State and weather have been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above May average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Rakhine State and (2°C) below May average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and about May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) in Myingyan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Mogoke (1.26) inches, Maungdaw (1.10)inches, Chaungsone (1.02)inches, Moemate (0.83)inch, Namsam, Loilin, Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri and Pobbathiri) (0.79)inch each, Kyaukme and Yangon (Kaba-Aye) (0.75)inch each.
