SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Kayin State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Hakha, (3°C) in Pinlaung and (4°C) in Loilin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.12)inch and Putao (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few clouds to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
