29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Yay (5.39) inches, Gwa (4.69)inches, Manaung (4.57)inches, Taungkok (4.45)inches, Bhamo (4.25)inches, Kawthaung (4.09)inches, Kyaukphyu (3.78)inches, Mawlamyine (3.54)inches, Thandwe (3.50)inches, Kya-In-Seikkyi (3.43)inches, Kyeikmayaw (3.11)inches and Chaungsone (2.83)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to furher intensify into a Depression during next (36)hrs. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Magway Region, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Kayin States.
