SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above February average temperatures in Yangon Region and Mon State, (3°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Magway Region, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Hakha, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Pinlaung and Mongyang, (6°C) each in Lashio and Nyaungshwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.71)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
