3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19) miles northeast of Pathein), latitude 16.85°N, longitude 95.00°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (75) miles west of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (22)hr (17)min (45)sec M.S.T on 7^th March, 2024.
