23-2-2026:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely continue to move Northeastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal Condition

According to the observations at (09:30) hrs M.S.T today, due to the unstable atmospheric condition, a low pressure area may form over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea around 18-5-2024. It is likely to intensify into a Depression.

Currently, the low pressure area has not yet started to form, so movement of the system are varying in accordance with the observation times, data and models. The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology will issue the simultaneous forecasts.
