BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area near Chumphon, Thailand still persists and it is forecast to move to the Andaman Sea during the next (12)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th NOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago and Yangon Regions, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Ayeyarwady Region, Shan and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Easterly winds with moderate to rough seas will be experienced at times off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts. Surface winds speed in easterly winds may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9)feet in off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts and (3-5)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
