27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (18:30) hrs MST today, the severe tropical Storm “Yagi” over South China Sea moved West-Northwestwards and has further intensified into a Typhoon “Yagi”.  It is likely forecast to move Westwards slowly.

 FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 5th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scatterd in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Bago Regions and Kachin, Shan,Chin, Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7 - 9 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5 - 7 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
