30-11-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the interior of West Bengal (India) has slowly moved West-Northwestwards and still persists.  Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
