25-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 50 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 260 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  470 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Extreme Southern parts of India, Comorin Area and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours.    . Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing  Region and Chin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
