27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States, 3°C above November average temperatures in Magway Region and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.0°C in Hakha, 8.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 9.4°C in Tiddim, 10.0°C in Putao, 11.3°C in Namsam(Southern Shan), 11.5°C in Loilin and 12.0°C in Machanbaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record were 1.30 inches in Loilin, 0.79 inch in Namsam(Southern Shan), 0.59 inch in Kawthaung, 0.55 inch in Monyang, 0.16 inch in Gyobingauk and 0.08 inch each in Myitkyina and Homalin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd November 2024: Rain will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Mon States. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan States.
