1-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards weaken into a Deep Depression and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 40 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Channei. It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) and may weak into Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea, cloudy in Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd December 2024: Likelihood of rain will be isolated in (Southern and  Eastern) Shan State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States.
