25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been isolated in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 6°C below December average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Northern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and 5°C above December average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -1.0°C in Hakha, 6.8°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.2°C in Myitkyina, 8.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 10.8°C in Putao and 11.0°C each in Heho and Loilin. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls record were 0.32 inch in Shwekyin and 0.08 inch in Madauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th December 2024: Rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
