27-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” crossed in the interior of Indonesia has recurved and moved South-Southeast and now lies again over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca. It is centered at about 360 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 50 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  460 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka has further intensified into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Sri Lanka coast.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 395 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and over the over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the West Central Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th December 2024: Rain will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavyfall in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather is generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Chin States and Partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
