BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the EastCentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “FENGSHEN” over the Easthern part of Philippines Sea has moved West-NorthwestWards and reached over Luzon Island Bay, Philippines. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and cross Luzon Island, Philippines.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be Isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Easthern Shan States and scattered in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin States, fairly widespread in in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon and Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
