SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, islolated in Southern Shan State with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.09 inches in Danubyu, 2.44 inches in Einme, 2.32 inches in Kalay, 2.09 inches each in Myaungmya, Hainggyigyun and Mawlamyinegyun, 1.76 inches in Kangyidaunt, 1.52 inches in Thabaung, 1.50 inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), 1.46 inches in Pathein, 1.38 inches in Maubin and 1.26 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye).

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Eastcentral and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, scattered in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Chin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
