BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and over the over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th January 2026: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Easthern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Shan States.
