26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions,  Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (2) to (3) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States, about (1) day in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Day Temperature

Day Temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal in Magway and Bago Regions,  about normal in Sagaing, Manddalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine,  Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about (5) to (7) days in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon Sates and about (2) to (4) days in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and  Rakhine State.
