30-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kachin Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Rakhine State.
