It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35- 40)m.p.h. Sea will be  moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts, (4 - 7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
