28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwest and crossed to the Odisha coasts(India) near Balasore and Digha.Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 22nd JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 14) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
