22-10-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Tamil Nadu Coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal(off North Tamil Nadu Coast and South Andhra Pradesh Coast,India) during next 12 hrs and may reach to the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts on 23-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12) miles southwest of Homalin), latitude 24.78°N, longitude 94.78°E, depth (53)kilometers about (49) miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (18)hr (33)min (50)sec M.S.T on 18th August, 2018.
