26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal condition

 Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Northern Myanmar areas during (16-21) of September.A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal and  further intensify into a Depression. Monsoon will be weak to moderate  over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

 Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Lower Sagaing Region, (Eastern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States,  below normal rain in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States. 

 Rainy days will be expected (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing,  Bago and  Yangon Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and (4) to (6) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
