23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Yangon Region, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myitkyina (2.91)inches, Putao (2.44)inches, Mogoke (2.28)inches, Mingin (2.05)inches, Hmawbi (1.73)inches, Manaung and Paing Kyone (1.65)inches each, Kyeikmayaw (1.57)inches, Hpa-an (1.50)inches and Launglon (1.34)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
