25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin and Kayah States, scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Lower Sagiang and Mandalay Regions and isolated heavy falls in Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Amarapura (4.88) inches, Hlaingbwe (3.27)inches, Lunkyaw (2.95)inches, Sagaing (2.76)inches, Mandalay (2.36)inches, Kalewa (2.24)inches, Madaya (2.17)inches, Yeu (2.13)inches, Kyaukse and Dawei (1.89)inches each and Kalay (1.69)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the  Deep Depression over  the Westcentral Bay of Bangal remained practically stationary and it is centered at about (300)miles Southeast of Gopalpur and about (270) miles Southeast of Kalingapatinam (India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago Region, Kachin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough sea elsewhere in Myanmar waters.Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (6-9)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
