28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and  Southern Shan States, scattered in Kachin, Northern Shan and  Rakhine States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan States  and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Taunggyi (1.53) inches, Pyinmana (Walgyi) (0.98)inch, Pyinoolwin (0.79)inch, Maungdaw (0.63)inch, Nyaung Shwe and Hakha (0.55)inch each and Loilin (0.51)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
