It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm(Gaja) over  the West Central Bay of Bengal has moved Southwestwards and now lies over the West Central and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (370)miles East of Chennai (India) and about (415)miles East- Northeast of Nagapattinam (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 13th November, 2018: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and Fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)mph. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in off and along  Myanmar Coasts.    

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States.
