30-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts. It is centered at about 775 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 135 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move nearly Northwards parallel to Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperatures in Yangon Region and Northern Shan State, (3°C) below November average temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and about November average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Thipaw and Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Namsam and Loilin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Kawthaung (0.12)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Southeast and Southwest Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Kachin, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
