27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions,  Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (2°C) above January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) above January average temperature in Kayin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Heho and (4°C) each in Putao, Thipaw, Pinlaung, Tiddim, Tongzan and Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the tropical storm (Pabuk) over the South China Sea is centered at about (295) miles Southeast of Nakhon Si Thammarat (Thiland) and about (410)miles Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar). It is forecast to move West- Northwestwards, cross near the Nakhon Si Thammarat (Thiland), South of Kawthaung (Myanmar) and reach to Andaman Sea.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th January, 2019: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
