25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Southern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above January average temperature in Mon State and (3°C) above January average temperature in Kayin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (1°C) in Heho, (3°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Loilin, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Putao, Mongyang and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th January, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Upper Myanmar Areas.
