27-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” crossed in the interior of Indonesia has recurved and moved South-Southeast and now lies again over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca. It is centered at about 360 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 50 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  460 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka has further intensified into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Sri Lanka coast.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 395 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and over the over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Thipaw and Heho, (4°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Loilin, Mongyang and Ramthlo, (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Naungcho and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.04) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th February, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
