24-11-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above February average temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan State, (3°C) above February average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) in Thipaw and (6°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Pinlaung, Loilin and Mongyang.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th February, 2019: Rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
