25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Taninthayi Ragion, Northern Shan and Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Aunglan and Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Ann, Pyay and Taunggu.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Katha and Kalewa (0.39)inch each, Mogaung (0.28)inch, Hkamti (0.20)inch, Putao, Machanbaw and Mingin (0.16)inch each and Myitkyina, Bhamo, Ramthlo, Pinlaebu and Kanbalu (0.12)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Northern Shan and Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
