1-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards weaken into a Deep Depression and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 40 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Channei. It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) and may weak into Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea, cloudy in Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be  fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Scattered in  Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
