27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Phyu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Hkamti (0.59)inch and Putao, Myintkyina and Mogaung (0.16)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States.
