28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Taninthayi Region, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Yangon Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) below April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (43°C) in Aunglan and (42°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Maungdaw (0.12)inch, Mingin (0.08)inch, Falam and Myeik (0.04)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
