28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE :According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Bengladesh has moved Northeastwards and centered at about (70) miles North of Dhaka(Bengladesh)and adjoining Meghalaya(India). It is continuously to move Northeastwards.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOONOF THE 5th May, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with Isolated Heavy fall in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin  and Chin States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
