1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is weak  over the Andaman Sea ,South Bay and East Central Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1stJune, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Taninthayi  Regions and Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in  remaining  Region sand Kachin States and . Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Likelihood of advancement of Southwest monsoon into the Central Myanmar areas.
