3-9-2025::  According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States.
